Mark Pudlo -
P.E., Naval Architect, President -
Mark
founded Seacraft Design in January 2007, after acquiring the design assets
of Timothy Graul Marine Design (TGMD). His twenty years of professional
experience has gained him a thorough appreciation for the commercial marine
industry, with an understanding of both the practical and technical aspects
of vessel design.
Mark served as Chief Naval
Architect for TGMD for most of his earlier career. He has also been engaged
as a private consultant on various occasions, been employed by the State of
Florida DNR assisting in research vessel conversions, and served briefly as
a ship carpenter. He has also enjoys building and restoring wood and
metal boats in his own shop.
Mark earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb
Institute, and is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin (No.
37861-006).

 Nathan Smith -
Naval Architect -
Nate is a graduate Naval Architect with six years in the
marine industry.
Employed previously by TGMD, Nate's technical background
is bolstered by practical experience gained from transatlantic sailing, and
work as a boatbuilder at Gannon and Benjamin.
Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval
Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute, and holds a USCG 50
ton Masters License.

 Lauren Balza -
Naval Architect -
Lauren is a graduate Naval Architect with two years of
professional experience. She has been previously employed as Naval Architect
at Burger Boat Company.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Naval
Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute.

Ronald Smith - Senior Designer -
Ron has over twenty years of experience in the
marine industry, working as a designer, boat builder and consultant.
Recently a Project Engineer at Burger Boat
Company, he has also worked as a designer for Hodgdon Yachts and Ted Hood
Design Group. Early in his career he partnered with Naval Architect Cyrus
Hamlin, forming Hamlin & Smith, Naval Architecture. Ron has also maintained
an active consulting practice with vessel designs ranging from a sailing
dingy to an 88’ schooner.
Ron earned a Certificate in Yacht Design form
the Landing School of Kennebunk, ME, where he later served as a faculty
member, teaching four years in both the design and boat building programs.
His marine experience began as a submarine Sonar Technician in the US Navy.

Jean Clark -
Administrator -
Jean handles scheduling, record keeping and general planning, and is the
friendly voice who usually answers the phone. Jean served eight years as
administrator to TGMD before joining the new company.

Chesla Anschutz
Controller and Bookkeeper -
Chesla is responsible for bookkeeping, payroll, and billing. She
served
twenty years for TGMD before joining the new company.

Tony Hodges
Independent
marine contractor -
Clients have included Tim Graul Marine Design,
US Coast Guard, Palmer Johnson Yachts, Burger Boat Company, Bay Shipbuilding
Corp. and SeaArk Marine since 1981.
